NCT 127 to serve as DJs on Beats 1 radio

Sept. 6 (UPI) -- The members of NCT 127 will serve as DJs on Beats 1 radio this week.

The K-pop group will become the first South Korean act to host a program on the Apple radio station, according to EDaily.

Taeyong, Jaehyun, Taeil, Mark, Yuta, Haechan, Winwin, Johnny and Doyoung will DJ the show Take Over: NCT 127 Request on Thursday, Sept.

7. The program is broadcasted in over 100 countries around the world.

The Korea Herald reported NCT 127 recorded part of the program Aug. 21 at the Beats 1 studio in Los Angeles. The show will feature the group's thoughts on their U.S. performances, conversations with fans and song requests.

NCT 127 is a sub-unit of the boy band NCT, which consists of 15 members. NCT 127 last released their third mini album, Cherry Bomb, in June, which peaked at No. 2 on the Gaon Album Chart.
