Lady Gaga 'gettin' stronger everyday,' donates $1M for disaster relief

Oct. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Lady Gaga says she wants to help those devastated by recent natural disasters.

"While praying every day, I'm also donating $1Mil to relief efforts for Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, José, Maria and the Mexico City earthquake," the singer tweeted Saturday.

Earlier in the day, the Grammy winner re-tweeted a Noisey.

The recording artist announced last month she was canceling a scheduled Rock in Rio performance and the European leg of her concert tour due to her battle with the chronic illness fibromyalgia, which can cause extreme fatigue, sleep disturbances, depression and headaches.
