England fans trounce Harry Kane after Euro 2016 loss

NICE, France, June 27 (UPI) -- Manager Roy Hodgson stepping down from his post as England manager was not enough to subdue its fans, following an exit from UEFA Euro 2016.

Fans absolutely obliterated English strike Harry Kane after the match on social media.

Insults invaded the Twitter-verse, attacking Kane's skill and almost everything else about the 22-year-old star.

Tottenham's Kane started the 2-1 loss to Iceland Monday and was unable create anything for the English offense. He also took a barrage of ill-hit free kicks in the loss, catching the eyes of keyboard warriors around the globe.
