Caitlyn Jenner pens one out of 6 transgender editorials for WhoSay

LOS ANGELES, July 6 (UPI) -- Caitlyn Jenner is sharing her experiences with the masses.

In attempt to better connect with the trans community, Jenner has teamed up with WhoSay to shine a light on issues the people of the LGBT community face.

The series of weekly editorials is called, "The Real Me" and will include six different blog posts. She posted her first post on Monday called, "My Journey Begins, by Caitlyn Jenner."

Jenner started off writing thanking her fans for their support. "The response to my new journey has been overwhelmingly positive, and I'm eternally grateful for all of your sweet messages, letters and gifts," she wrote.

She continued: "Up until now, I have totally isolated myself from the transgender community so I have a lot of catching up to do. I feel such a responsibility to this courageous group to try to get it right and tell all sides of the story."

The 65-year-old explained some of the struggles trans-women face and how they've overcame their advertises.

Jenner shared the link of her blog post on her Instagram page and wrote, "Excited to share this with you. #JustTheBeginning"
